Vintum

Vintum is a world of only two lands. The northern continent of Aquilonium is home to Humans, Dragonborn, Tieflings, Orcs and only a small kingdom of Dwarves. Just south of their mountain range, called The Shield Mountains there lies the Contra Peninsula, so named for the two often warring Human kingdoms who inhabit it. The southern continent of Meridiem is home to the majority of the Dwarves and virtually all of the Elves. These two races who were at first in a bitter, millennium long struggle for supremacy made their peace centuries ago, and have since become the pinnacle of their societies. So much so that Meridiem is considered heavenly, and Aquilonium hellish.   It is in this “hell” that we begin our tale.
