The Thick Fox

From the outside it looks delightful, enchanting and well maintained. Stacked stones and intricate stone carvings make up most of the building's outer structure, while golden accents outline the wooden panels. Pink and orange flowers hang all around the building that is on the corner of the street. It's impossible to see through the large, curtained windows, but the clinking of beer glasses from within can be felt outside.
As you enter the tavern through the heavily used, wooden door, you're welcomed by cheerful singing and a pleasant atmosphere. It is packed from the inside, but you see the bartender working hard. The tall half-orc gives you a wave and a smile as you find a table.
Tree logs support the upper floor and the huge lamps attached to them. The walls are clear of anything, though signs do show plenty of things used to hang on the walls, though they've probably been knocked off by customers who had too much to drink.. You did hear rumors about this tavern, supposedly it's famous for something, but you can't remember what for. Though judging by the amount of cups, tankards and glasses on the table, it's probably the fine alcoholic drinks. You manage to find a seat and prepare for what will undoubtedbly be a great evening.

Purpose / Function

This tavern is the hotspot for the members of the Promise of Felicity guild. Owned by the guild, tourists and locals often visit here to get a good time. The place is always full with patrons, and the parties never end before 2 in the morning - at least.
There are also a questboard for requests that the guild has for in- and outsiders. Adventurers and locals often look at the questboard to see if they can help the tavern they often like.
The tavern also has some rooms, but it's hard to claim a room as they are always booked.

Architecture

The tavern is a corner building, so it has two sides to advertise, with an entrance on a diagonal wall in the middle of the building. From all the buildings, this one is the only one with gold, pink and orange detailing. The pink and orange flowers stand out against the brown and blue of all other buildings. A big sign hangs on both sides of the outside.
Inside, the building there are lots of tables and seats for people to sit at and enjoy themselves. Dice, cards and chess pieces lay in a cabinet on the side for people who stay here to use. Bards usually perform at the top of the tables, but there is a small stage for people to perform on.

For the guests, there is a wide variety of food and drink to choose from. The food is prepared by members of the guild and the tavern owner prepares all of the drinks.
