Stonepoint

The home of the Bluestone University, Stonepoint is the capital of Umbria.
Built after the inception of the Bluestone University, Stonepoint originally was created as a town that provided shelter and trade with the university's students, but then it grew exponentially over the years, becoming home to other universities and arcanums. Eventually, as the government of Umbria changed from a monarchy to a republic, the Chamber, the ruling representatives, made Stonepoint their home. This only grew the city more until there were millions of individuals calling Stonepoint home.
Stonepoint is known as the home of many great artifacts and treasures. In fact, successful adventurers and wealthy individuals come to the great Soogs (markets) of Stonepoint to buy items created by the intellectual institutions, which in turn make a profit making them extremely rich establishments, and through taxes helped Umbria become an economic powerhouse.
It is rumored that Stonepoint is the home of magic, both the study of it and also where the weave of mana was first manipulated. There is no proof to say that either claim is fact, but it is certainly widely accepted throughout the world. As such, Stonepoint is literally regarded as the center of magic in the Material Realm.
