Daevet Otharius

The current leader of Eldrathia, Otharius is the latest in a long line of Daevets.
Coming to power 24 years ago after being chosen by his predecessor, Alassar, he was a political aide in his younger days. His work was so extraordinary and he had an almost unnatural sense about which were the correct decisions that some believed him to be trained as a divination wizard. Whether he was or not has never been proven, however he did find himself in the favor of the Daevet and became his right hand man. So much so that when Daevet Alassar fell suddenly ill, he chose Otharius as his successor.
Otharius since his rule began has been extremely impressive in his statecraft and managing his armies, ensuring Senair from Gothul stays within his realm and ensuring peace across Farandis with the help of Umbria. He also has sent "cultural ambassadors" to Hadrashar to ensure the prominence of Elrathia in the New World.
Sort of an enigma, Otharius is not seen publicly often. It has been assumed that Otharius has been aware of attempts on his life and simply avoided them. It has also been assumed that he is planning a much brighter future for Otharius and has little time for public appearances. As such his public speeches and proclamations draw massive crowds from across Eldtharia to see their all-important leader.
