Temple of the Moon-Weaver

Sehanine the Moon-Weaver is the patron of illusionists, tricksters, those who work in secret under the cover of darkness, and lovers who meet under the moonlight. Her followers have a reputation as romantics and occasional troublemakers, but she is very popular with starry-eyed young folks who hope that she'll guide them to their true love.
Other than that, Sehanine's followers are mainly elves, including dark elves. The dark elves are the children of her former lover Aurashnee (AKA Llolth), and unlike Corellon, she believes that the Spider Queen can be redeemed one day. This means that defectors from drow society find Sehanine's temples very welcoming. They join her other followers in working to undermine Llolth, often by helping other defectors escape from the Underdark.

Worship

Services for Sehanine are held on full moon nights.
Sehanine's month is Harvestmoon, the eighth on the calendar. Rather than having a fixed holy day, her followers celebrate on the full moon of the month, known as Brightest Moon.

Priesthood

Sehanine's priesthood is mainly female and elven, though there is no shortage of other races or genders. Their clerical color is violet.

• The main priesthood of Sehanine provide valuable divination, illusion, and other such magical aid to those who ask.
• The Order of the Moonbow is a monastic order whose mission is to work against Llolth. Unlike Corellon's orders, the Moonbow works through subterfuge. They foil drow raids, disseminate propaganda against the matriarchs, and help to smuggle people out of the Underdark. This Order is known for its extremely harsh training and strict policy of secrecy; novices are put through intense physical and mental challenges to ensure that they're capable of holding on to their secrets even under torture.
