Bomdi'Pe

Industry & Trade

The primary industry of Bomdi'Pe is expeditions. Inns and taverns are popular establishments, permitting sponsors and adventurers to mingle and engage each other in a hospitable environment. Virtually all other areas of work revolve around the expeditions and how to keep a steady stream of investors and labor walking through their roads on the way to the Fallen Kingdom... then taking a share of the 'treasures' for their service.

Infrastructure

Ever since the influx of adventurers (and funds) the roadways and buildings have drastically improved. Paths are much easier to travel along and cart good and people to the Wall. Buildings are studier than ever, if still looking rundown overall.

Guilds and Factions

A few small embassy-style guilds have been established within the capital. There is at least one guild per country from the western continent. In addition, there are guilds for a few trades, adventurers, mages, and a few others.

History

Despite its settlement status, Bomdi'Pe has existed longer than any other nation from the western continent. Its location was more of a backwaters, compared to the now Fallen Kingdom, populated only by the lowest of the low, outcasts and miserable folk. Abandoned in its own muck and refuse, there was nothing important about the land until the borders of the Kingdom became to crumble. Word quickly reached the ears of the western nations and the lackluster settlement became a major way-point on the path to the Kingdom.   Prosperity soon followed and Bomdi'Pe was lifted out of the backwaters mire it had sunk in, thriving on the influx of newcomers.   Given the prior state of the nation, there are no records or history written down. This leaves it in a strange paradox of technically being older than any other nation, yet at the same time the youngest. Not that the people would complain, though. They are more than content to let Dalbos and Haven lay claim to eldest and contest their philosophies.

Architecture

Being on the 'frontier' of sorts, finesse is not a major concern for the construction of buildings. Oftentimes, the buildings show a ramshackle look, seemingly unsteady boards jutting out and propping up overhangs. Despite this unsound look, the work defies expectations and remains rather sturdy.

Natural Resources

The region is filled with plentiful forests, enough to maintain the construction of more buildings.
