Psionic Stimulation Device
A psionic device is a piece of technology attached to or sometimes implanted into the head of the user that sends electric pulses to the brain that activate inactive parts of the mind in order to give the user psionic powers. The abilities granted by a psionic device are usually weaker than the powers of creatures who gained their powers through meditation or bloodline. Some variations of the technology include a gauntlet designed to interface with psionically-reactive technology.
Utility
In it's current state, this technology is useful for little other than interfacing with psionically reactive technology. though it can give the user limited telepathy and energy-bending abilities, such abilities are outclassed by more common, cheaper technologies such as cybernetics.
Access & Availability
Psionic Stimulation Devices are a relatively new technology and as such are rare and expensive.
