Derrin was a member of the Light tribe at the time of it's induction into the Conflux. He married the then-steward of the White City, Duchess Credence, and eventually fathered Kira. After his wife's death his daughter, Kira, took up the mantle of steward and he's been puttering about the imperial chateau ever since.

Derrin has a few brothers and cousins, most of which still live back in the Sun village as holdovers from another age. The only truly close relationship he has is with his daughter, Kira. Unfortunately he doesn't get to see her much between her duties as steward of the White City and as CEO of KiCorp.
Hobbies & Pets
Derrin is your quintessential Light tribe tinker, and he shows it by constantly working on clocks, watches and windup toys. He can never truly be at ease unless he's fidgeting with something mechanical.
