Luserial Archipelago
The Luserial Archipelago is a cluster of tropical islands about 100 miles from Starlight Bay. It's best known for its tropical flora, severe weather, beautiful vacation homes, cursed islands, active volcanoes, shipwrecks, and its prehistoric fauna.
Geography
The Luserial Archipelago is a cluster of about 100 islands, some of which are as small as a decent tavern, and others large enough to sustain multiple cities. The islands are roughly 100 miles south-west of Starlight Bay and a few miles from the Crescent Mountains of the Veridian Continent. Once part of these mountains, geographers and historians believe that tectonic plate movement and volcanic activity separated these islands from the mainland and then grew to sustain themselves after many centuries.
Fauna & Flora
The archipelago sustains a variety of tropical plant life. Its rich volcanic soil makes it excellent for farming and the local crops are a luxury on the mainland. Sugar, Bananas, Citrus fruits, coconuts, and coffee are commonly grown and can also be found existing naturally.
The fauna on the other hand has adapted and evolved separately from the Veridia mainland and as such, have some creatures that exist only on the island. These creatures also happen to be quite deadly and large, given their prehistoric origins.
Natural Resources
The archipelago has some of the rarest yet most delectable crops in all of Veridia, and the volcanic soil makes it excellent to farm from. The islands are also home to some fairly hardy palm trees and deep underground, the volcanic pressure has hardened rocks to form valuable gemstones including diamonds.
