Alvaria
A few days travel by sea north of the Veridian Continent lies the island archipelago of Alvaria, a majestic land inhabited by elves of all kinds. The archipelago, which consists of 10 small islands and one large, provides for the needs of thousands of elves, most of whom live on the large island. This large island is usually what folk refer to when they say Alvaria, since the other islands are fairly insignificant on their own. The island and its inhabitants are united by the Alvarian Dominion.
Geography
The Alvarian archipelago consists of 10 small islands around a single large island. The islands have varying heights above sea level but most are relatively flat. The large central island is referred to as Alvaria as it is the most significant island, therefore it is usually specified when one is referring to the entire archipelago. The islands are seperated by at most 15 miles of sea which is up to 100 ft deep.
The archipelago takes about 2 days to travel to from Felwinter by sea. It is relatively isolated from the rest of the Veridian continent, but the vast ocean provides travel to the two other continents nearby.
Fauna & Flora
The islands of Alvaria are home to a lush environment of multicolored flora. Pink, blue, and lush, green trees are a common sight throughout the region and are often incorporated into the local architecture. The seas around the many islands contain a variety of fish and coral reefs.
Natural Resources
The islands of Alvaria have loads of lumber and stone available for harvesting. The surrounding ocean contains an abundance of fish to supply the local population.
