Main Square

The main square at the center of Verdan is much like any center of a town. It houses many stores and locations important to the townsfolk and the Statue of the Founder . You can find just about anything you could want in the main square. This includes: a tavern, general store, and some specialty shops. This constitutes the only real shopping district in Verdan. Because of this, most people in town will look to spend their free time here when they get their allowance for the week from the government and have some chips in their pocket. It is also just a short walk up the road to the Temple .

Every seven days there is a market in the street where people who do not usually have stores set up stalls and sell their wares. This can be just about anything as the townsfolk have a huge range of skills. Many of which that they do not get to use in their daily lives because they do not directly improve the town. But in their free time they can pursue them so that they can sell their wares at the market. There are also a number of stalls where people can sell their excess produce. This means that people will have the opportunity to purchase any extra food that they desire from the fellow townspeople.
