Carlos lives in Hillshur as much as anyone who does not meaningfully contribute to society can call a place home. Having moved to Hillshur for a better life, Carlos has now mostly given up on making something of himself. He spends most of his time in the tavern drinking his days away. When he runs low on money he goes begging for odd jobs from anyone who will take him. The only jobs he wont take are those that take him near the mountain of Verdan.
Carlos used to be a respected huntsman who came to the west to be able to hunt in new areas and make a name for himself. But he was broken as a man after a run in with a giant wasp beast ([Necrotera). It left him with a weakened left arm and a scar. No one in the new town of Hillshur really believes his story about what happened.
