Joined the church near its inception. Has been a clergy member his whole life but hasn't moved up very far. He is often selected to be the one to oversee the distribution center and keep the ledger. However, the position does not come with a lot of respect or upward mobility. It is an important job but it means that Paul spends most of his day away from the temple and will therefore have fewer visions than the priests who stay in the temple. He had hoped to have a larger position within the church given his devotion.
