Organisation:
The Grey Moon is a resistance movement and directly at odds with The Silver Chain. The Grey Moon believes the rule of the Emperor should come to an end, that any leader in power for so long becomes complacent at best and corrupt at worst. The Emperor has lost touch with the struggles of those in Sabal and his iron grip has been given to others to manage. Others with their own ideals and lust for power. Whatever currently exists in the nation is unsustainable and rotten.
Opinions across the organisation vary for what should be put in its place, but all have the same opinion that what currently works can not go on. Thousands subscribe to the Grey Moon's message, though the extent of their actions are wildly different and cause a difficult balance for more hardcore agents. It is difficult to trust as those around the members may be as likely to turn you over to The Silver Chain as help you, depending on what works best for them at the time. This has caused many in the organisation to become extremely paranoid and is a main reason why members are grouped in small clusters called 'thorns', cleverly named for the thorns in the side of the government and as a symbol for the only plant to grow in the harsh magic blasted land of Sabal'Har.
Members exist all over Sabal, resisting in their own way, whether it be through acts of violence and aggression, sabotage or something as simple as working against government tasks. Maybe slowing a vital communique with paperwork, removing documents needed for something to be done or delivering items to a different location. Whatever act it is, it has resulted in some using the name as a muttered prayer of thanks, or a curse, depending on how the acts of resistance affect the person, and which way their loyalty leans.
