The Ironmark Theatre

The Ironmark Theatre hospital and operating theatre in the city of Andyr controlled by the Ironmark clan of dwarves from Volk. They use various special metals and old runic magic to assist in healing major injuries. They work with tinker gnomes to create various clockwork pieces to replace missing limbs and organs. The Ironmarks themselves take most of the administration off to themselves and employ several low-ranking clerics from the various local churches in the city. They are known to be fairly insular and standoff-ish on the rare occasions that they come out and mingle with the general citizenry, but people tend to forgive their aloofness due to their work helping the city get back on its feet after the convergence. They were the only reason so many people were able to get back to work after losing various limbs to destruction the Convergence caused.   The name originates from the original main building, which was once, in fact, a place where various plays and other performances were held. Ostian Ironmark, the founder of the Ironmark Theatre, was a renowned healer and surgeon and was sought after as a teacher by many aspiring non-divinely empowered healers. In order to fulfill this need for the people, he bought out the old Theatre with money collected from adventuring and converted it to a medical theatre, where he could help the city and instruct future surgeons to do the same. After some time, more of his clan came and began to assist him with the runic magic and the metallurgy for which The Theatre is now known. They also assisted him in expanding the hospital to several other buildings in the vicinity, opening the first major hospital not attached to a particular deity in the nation of Fraewind. Its primary function is now a hospital, but it still holds training seminars for the King’s College to train those who wish to become doctors in the medical arts.
