Order of the Green Sun

Followers of the Order have access to the Chaos, Weather, Void, and Artifice domains. They venerate the source of all chaos magic, the Green Sun sensed beneath Nexus by psychics. They are also often skilled in thaumechanical engineering, and have been the driving force behind the development of the aethermages.
The order has long had tense relations with the gold dragon Ozoga, whose city of Vrae they are based in. They believe that the world is on the brink of a new age, and that Ozoga, whom they call the First Star, will be its midwife, but the dragon has made every effort to distance himself from them, going so far as to limit the legality of magic use by the Order’s adherents. The order’s current master, Johassa of the Bonebreaks, has cynically pointed out that Ozoga seems happy enough to accept the aid of their thaumechanists, and to profit on the trade of sacred aether from Nexus. Adherents have recently split into two schools: those who believe that Ozoga can do no wrong, and those who see him as a reluctant messiah who must be coerced into his role. The Order is somewhat popular in Nexus itself, although many oreads denounce it as madness.
