The Pantheon of Riches has a wide variety of gods with different alignments and goals, their domains relate to riches, blood, sacrifice, exchange, nobility and competition. The transcended of this pantheon is Varin. The pantheon is frowned upon by most folks, but isn't seen as evil. The Pantheon of Riches is a relatively knew pantheon, and was created when the mortal races began expanding and developing more. The pantheon has always been closely tied to various mortal races, and has been guiding their development from the upper class. The godly members of the pantheon of riches know that mortals and their faith are a major source of power for gods. It is also one of the pantheons with the highest turnover of the greater deity leading it, for the ruthless politics encouraged for the followers of this pantheon is also practiced by the gods of it.

Divine Origins

The pantheon of riches was established at the beginning of the age of expansion (first age), when the first mortal races where slowly becoming more organized and a more influential force on the cosmos. Deities at this point realized that prayers from mortals was a strong source of power for gods. Most pantheon quickly established themselves in the mortal realm, and the pantheon of riches was created specifically for this purpose by Mons, who at the time was the god of fighting, duels and competition. However the transcended of the pantheon of Riches never lasts long, and since there have been a number of greater deities who have led this pantheon.

Typically priests who follow this pantheon will have an easier time using Transmutation, Enchantment and Necromancy Magic, while having a difficult time with Illusion, Evocation and Abjuration Magic.

Political Influence & Intrigue

Many followers of this pantheon are very politically active, and it is the primary reason why the pantheon of Riches is considered acceptable in most places. The general direction of the politics is usually towards conflict as a form of test for those who overcome it. Those who are active politically usually do so subtly, but with great power and force.
