Windpeak

Situated on the very edge of the Goldfrost Forest. One of the few cities in Eschine which is at odds with the rule of Highlord Harris Artanis. Although they are not open in their rebellion. Windpeak is a hotbed for organised crime. On the streets you can see guards patrolling, but often will they turn a blind eye to the numerous crimes committed in the cramp alleyways of the city. Although crime is rampant, honest pursuits can be found in the city. Stories are told across Etraas about Black-barrel Ale, one of the many breweries found in Windpeak. The houses are made of stone and slate, built to last. The need to support a large population has forced homes to be crowded against each other. During the night those keen of eye will spot thieves and assassins roaming the roofs. This side of the Dragonspine Cliffs has harsher weather than the rest of Eschine. This means it is perpetually snowing in Windpeak, with heavy winds being common. Those who read Thieves Cant will notice the presence of a Thief's Guild here.

Demographics

Most of the percentage of population here is Human, with Halflings being a little behind. Half-Orcs, Gnomes and Dwarves are also common sights. The ruling class here is split between Halflings and Humans.
