Dragonspine Cliffs
Ancient Etraasian legends say the Dragonspine Cliffs are the remains of the dragon Voringul. A powerful dragon which supposedly existed before humans were on Etraas, and died when the Elder Gods struck him down.
The cliffs are thousands of feet tall with the peeks being impossible narrow. Numerous attempts have been made to harvest resources from here, but it is often not worth the danger. A hundred years ago the Highlord of Wintersfall attempted to build a through tunnel to the other side. After years of planning the tunneling was initially successful, but before it was completed it collapsed resulting in casualties numbering in the hundreds.
