Chapter 06: The New Generation

Last we left our heroes, the Phoenix Team ventured out to take in Hero Week. Excited to get involved, our heroes decided to participate by creating their own booth. A booth that sold ice cream and offered passerbys the chance to compete in arm wrestling tournaments for the chance to earn a free treat.

During the opening ceremony, Gold Academy administration members Jonathan Bravo and Samantha Ellerby opened the festivities. Making sure to thank those in attendance and offer a warning that disruptions and violence would be handled with a zero-tolerance policy.

Cell had the opportunity to meet with Smoke who made mention that there were some whisperings of Cherufe organization discord among the highest echelon of members. Code name Winter had not yet been unanimously accepted as the newest leader of the organization.

Vanish had the chance to speak with his mentor/advisor Jennifer McHale who reassured him that he has more potential than he gives himself credit for and the corporate nature and business end of the hero world should not be a detractor from the good that they do for society.

Fenrir, while left on his own spotted and approached Scarlett Moore who also was in attendance. After she noticed him, things devolved quickly and resulted in a loud argument where Fenrir accused her of working with criminals. A scene broke out which drew in the attention of festival-goers including Tundra and Chloe. Fenrir disengaged from the confrontation and retreated to the rail yard.

Shaken up, Tundra and Chloe decided to head back to her dorm room while Vanish and Cell chose to go after Fenrir.
