Zirichion

This week on Exploring the unknown:

AN INTERVIEW WITH ZIRICHION

Recorded by The Scribe

Featuring:
  • Zirichion
  *The Scribe:*
“Hello hello! We are back with another exclusive interview- with the god who is extremely hard to track down, Zirichion! So Zirichion, want to introduce yourself to the crowd and possibly explain a little about yourself and your abilities?”
*Zirchion:* “Why thank you Scribe, and as you know, I am Zirichion. And I am sure that you know, my main domains of magic are nature and storms. As for my abilities, there are quite a lot, but the ones that are more well known are my ability to shapeshift, teleport using my nature magic.
Even though there are a few more, I don't know if I have the time to explain them all.”
  *The Scribe:*
“Ah that makes sense, but that also brings me to my first main question. You basically rule Akumasu, the realm of the dead, correct? What is it like to rule that place?”
  *Zirchion:*
“You are correct, Scribe. I am the ruler of Akumasu, and it can be an... interesting job.
Most spirits are relativly calm and willing to stay there, but others are a bit more... how should I put this... insistent to return?"
  *The Scribe:*
“Ah that makes sense, now for my next question. Is it true that your main aspect has domain over all of the main types of magic? Can we meet them?”
  *Zirchion:*
“My main aspect is currently dormant and hidden quite well for both your safety and mine, but yes. My main aspect has domain over almost all of the different magic types. The only magic type that the aspect does not have domain over is Chaos magic. Due to that, it can get kind of tricky to defend my realm from chaos-related threats such as those from the neighboring realm."
  *The Scribe:*
“Wow! That is a whole lot of magic! And you actually brought up my final question. Is it true that Aukumasu is in the middle of the chaos realm?”
  *Zirchion:*
“It is indeed. The beasts in the Chaos Realm really want to reclaim Akumasu, but I have many loyal friends of mine keeping the border between the two safe and well defined.
  *The Scribe:*
“Ah, that makes sense. And that is it for my questions, we don't want to take up any more of your time. Thank you for coming to the interview today Zirichion, and I hope you have a great day. A round of applause for Zirichion everyone!”
And that is it for today folks, I hope you enjoyed today's interview. And that's all for now! See you next time on Exploring the Unknown!”

God of the lands

Zirichion is the original deity of the lands of Kathrir and Valriya, and they are currently the most powerful deity in both worlds.
When Zirichion was the only deity of the lands, they interacted with the people a lot. Showing up to public events, randomly challenging a stranger to a card battle, and buying fruit for random people... They were very active with all of that.
They continued this for a few centuries, but when a few mystical beings came with the ancient dragons, Zirichion gifted each of them domain over various areas, and magic types. After that, they entrusted watching over the world to these new gods and vanished into Akumasu.

Akumasu

The realm of Aukumasu is most commonly referred to as the realm of the dead, and it is ruled by the god Zirichion. It isn't just an afterlife, and people were once allowed to come and visit whenever they wanted. These old entrances are long gone, but the realm still stands, now with a bustling city and also a few other towns.
The realm was technically carved out of another dimension called the chaos realm. The chaos realm isn't exactly a dangerous or malicious location, but it is mostly kept outside the Akumasian borders rather than inside.

Ooh, I love a good underworld deity, but this one is even more fascinating because of their sort of omnipresence and many different types of power. Hopefully they'll be able to keep Akumasu safe from all the chaotic entities that want to reclaim it...
