Rosaria's Blade
Rosaria's blade is an incredibly dangerous object (Or technically a pair of them) made with the pure purpose of slaying anything that lies in the Chaos Realm.
The goddess Rose crafted it during the war with the Nameless Ones, specifically tracking down each one and stealing something from them before they could return to the chaos realm. These... things became key pieces in the sword later on.
This sudden change didn't come without consequence. Due to a pact all of the nameless ones had made, from that moment on she was turned into a puppet, a beast at their beck and call.
Rose lost control of herself, but in one of her moments of clarity she sought out the gods and pleaded for their help.
They were hesitant of course, but eventually agreed just as the nameless ones started to besiege the dual worlds. This was when Rose began to craft her weapon, ready to rid herself of the control once and for all.
The "key" looks like a diamond-shaped pinkish red gemstone. There is a thin slit in the center, presumably to slide the blade in. Many have tried, but the gemstone seems to start magically resisting the second you pull it over the tip.
This is because the sword can only be activated by Rose, and only by one specific aspect of her. Otherwise it will not fit together.
When she does use the sword and fully activates it, the blade gets wreathed in Chaos magic, extending its length over three times to the point where it is closer to a Zweihänder in size and shape.
The sword can also infect enemies with chaos magic, which has a similar effect to Distilled Mana, specifically of the Chaos variety.
History
One thing often left out of the creation story is that Rose herself was a nameless one at one point. Appearance
The blade and its "key" are rather unassuming, if not slightly strange. The blade resembles a dagger, but with a very long handle. Magical Abilities
The sword has the ability to muddle the memories and feelings of everyone in proximity, with even the most powerful of monsters being affected by this ability. This is actually tied to activating the sword with the key, as the farther the key is on the sword the stronger this ability will be. This can be turned off, but only by Rose.The sword can also infect enemies with chaos magic, which has a similar effect to Distilled Mana, specifically of the Chaos variety.
