Valterra

A world shrouded in almost eternal night, Valterra is a dying world due to the constant warfare raging on its surface. The Empire of mankind has barley clung onto survival, fighting an eternal war against the creatures of the night, the vampires and werewolves. For most people, life on Valterra is harsh and unforgiving and they never see any natural light in their lives. Except for the soft blue light of the lonely morning star, which serves as their only beacon of hope alongside the moon in this dying world. However, things are about to change.   Elias Veltaran is a soldier garrisoned in a border city, which is often attacked by Vampires and Werewolves. One day however, he finds a critically injured woman and takes her to his house. She reveals that she’s a vampiric healer named Velara Narvinus, and served in the vampiric legions but also had saved numerous human lives too. Elias decides to spare her and starts growing closer to her, as he has little to no family or close ones remaining in his life   Around this time however, a sinister force is arising on Valterra . This force has secretly been behind this conflict of humans, vampires and werewolves and now seeks to assert its evil dominance over the world Elias and Velara will have to embark on an emotional journey of hope, love, despair, kindness, suffering and death in an attempt to reconcile their respective races and fight unitedly against this threat lest even the morning stars light snuff out forever. And the few unfortunate souls who will survive will envy the dead. For a fate far worse than the cold embrace of death awaits them in that true era of darkness
