About Midwich
Midwich was once a land that was mostly made up of a lushes rainforest, completely surrounded by the sea, but then Corruption took hold and it is now where the void warlocks reside.Legislature
Za'strasz is the only person that is capable of making the laws. Every day his right-hand man comes to him and waits to report the ongoings within the city and he will make laws or let him know of newcomers. Sometimes the right-hand is able to make suggestions but not matter what Za'strasz gets all the final say.Judiciary
There are not many laws, the only ones all have to do with going against Za'strasz and if you break any of those rules you will be taken to the temple and be consumed by the corruption, making the person become completely mindless and subservient to their one and only ruler. If they break any crimes against other warlocks such as murder they will disappear and it's unknown what happens to them or where they go.Executive
Other warlocks are the ones that keep each other in check, if anyone falls out of line while in the city they will be taken to trial with the right-hand man standing before them. The decision will be made in a day or so and once it has depended on what the crime is determined how harsh the punishment will be.Culture
Most of everyone has eyes on their backs and is constantly suspicious of each other, waiting for someone to stab them in the back. How each person behaves depends on where they are from as they tend to keep to their own cultures in their own homes, that is if no one steals from them.
Demography and Population
Mostly comprises of fairies that have joined The Void either because of a deal being made or because they wish to seek revenge on those who turned their backs. Other than faries there are also all kinds of different fey creatures that reside within Midwich for various reasons.
Territories
The entirety of Midwich is taken over by corruption and the entire island is surrounded by a sea. The lands were forcefully taken from 3 different countries that were trying to be established after the abandonment of the Eladrin. one country was a group of centaurs, the other was a group of Loxodon, and the last one was a combined group of Leonin and Stayr.
Religion
This entire system is run by religion, it would not be able to function without Za'strasz or the warlocks. All of the laws are made by the deity, which gets passed down to the right-hand man and is inforced by the corrupted creatures.
Agriculture & Industry
Everything is grown magically and with tons of corruption making harvest year-round and causes great benefits, though at the expense of temporarily losing your mind. The people also will eat almost anything that breaths making hunting all the more easy for them as everything is prey.
