Kunig
The most common and politically powerful human peoples. They have a loose caste system built upon the color and vibrancy of one's eyes. Their culture is prevalent across Vallonde and shapes governments far and wide.
Naming Traditions
Masculine names
Many masculine names incorporate 'in' into the names, usually as a suffix.
Family names
All names in Kunig culture follow a few patterns. Names are typically arranged in a consonant-vowel-consonant pattern where each sound (not necessarily letters) which is a vowel sound is encased by two consonant sounds. Names also tend to be symmetrical in spelling or sounds, although many have slight asymmetric deviations for religious reasons. Additionally, suffixes based on gender are often added to names.
Ex: Kalak. Each vowel in this name has a consonant sound on either side, and the name is symmetrical.
Ex: Techetin. The vowel sounds are separated by consonant sounds ('ch' is considered a single consonant sound) and the name is symmetrical excluding the added '-in' suffix which accompanies most male names.

Major language groups and dialects
Kunish "Common" is the most common language among humans and most sapient races. This stems from the prevalence of the language as a 'trade' language due to Kunig societies often having the strongest economies and trade routes.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Dark skin as well as bright and vibrant eyes are considered to be the most beautiful and features of the Kunig people. Although it is largely looked down upon in their societies, some families still practice "strategic marriages" to preserve or enhance these traits in their bloodline.
