Mab the Spring Light

Mab the Summer Light (a.k.a. The Summer Light, The bringer of life & death, the bringer of chance.)

Mab the spring light is a well respected Archfey to those whom love nature, worshiped by many druids whom see his wisdom as beautiful. The father of satyrs and many fey creatures of joy and chaos. However his appearance in many tales and stories still holds a dark undertone due too his powerful nature. Mab holds the touch of time, some of the most famous stories of Mabs doing is of him approaching druids and those seeking services, these people were looking for their dead to be re-risen or their wounds to be healed. Mabs breath would bring such a gift to those whom he thought deserved such an act, however Mab wouldn’t give his gift so easily, many a time a druid whom brought his dead to Mab would find himself joining them or a wounded adventurer would touch Mab to find their wound spreading and killing them within the minute. Mab shows his mercy to those whom he deems worthy, many have tried to go to Mab for life or guidance, most have failed. Many have studies these accounts and findings but have found no pattern, only Mab knows what he deems worthy and only Mab will bring such worthiness to those whom may seem the least deserving, only time will tell, after all Mab has all the time in the world.

Personal history

The Flying Elk, the spring light is known as such due to his appearance during Spring. Mab is a symbol of joy and creation to the animals and creatures that roam the fey, to those humanoids living within other plains Mab is known as the grim giver, Mab’s form is shown to be one of an Elk with eagle wings and treelike antlers, those whom have been brought back by Mab have found themselves seeing his humanoid form but either forgetting it or unable to describe it they normally are lost for words to what he looks like, yet always seem at peace with these images they bring back even if they are hazy, and so depictions of a humanoid Mab show one of a humanoid man with antlers, long grassy hair and treelike hands. Shrines to Mab normally depict a deer with antlers wrapped around its body in knots, however some shrines depict a faceless man with antlers showing his humanoid form, made as a shine to his connection to the Humanoids he is visited by from time to time, that is those whom can find him or those whom he lets find him.
