Archon Nerkid Arkax

Born into the powerful Arkax merchant family, Nerkid embodies many of the archetypal traits of his kind; Determined, disciplined and owner of a draconic temper. 
however, these traits have also served him well in interests of business and state, often captaining many of his family's merchant fleets himself, Nerkid has a fine history of beating pirates and securing a good price for his goods. 
eventually being elected Archon in his 50th year, his tenure as leader of the republic has seen improved relations with both dwarves and elves but an escalation of conflict with neighboring states. seeing that the constant wars in the region are aiding pirates, bandits and highwaymen, Nerkid intends to use the full force of his faction to bring peace and prosperity to the land.
