The Legend Of Birima'Asa

In the mountains lies a hidden cave, with painted walls and a beautiful crystal wall covering the back end.  When the crystal barrier needs refueling it reaches out, sending it's song until a unsuspecting soul finds their way to the cave and are never seen again.

Summary

The Birima'Asa was a monstrosity born from the twisted mind of god. Reproducing at a terrible rate the hoard of Birima'Asa quickly threatened the expanding civilization. To face this threat 4 heroes stepped forward. They travelled far and wide to gather the blessings of the gods. Blessed with divine power they tore through the hoards of Birima'Asa only to realize that for each spawn they killed, a new one was born. The hero's seeked out the aid of the Surks, blessed by The Everwatching Light to see the future who told of a cave that could be sealed at a terrible prize. One was made a bait to lure the Brood Mother in to the cave, and as the monster tore through their companion, just as they had torn through her brood, the remaing heroes gave their life seal the cave with a crystal wall. The remainder of the brood was easily dispersed by the armies amassed to deal with the threat.  The walls of the cave were painted with the story of the heroes bravery and those who were left walk into the world, spreading the tale of the scarifies needed to seal the cave, as they knew the seal would have to be fueled in the future.
