Small mountain stream

You start following the stream, carefully looking where you place your feet to avoid getting your shoes to wet and also to avoid slipping on the rocks.
You manage to continue up the mountain for quite a bit doing this, grabbing the encroaching rocks for support when needed and carefully place your feet on secure locations. The method requires more focus on the ground though and you're having a hard time keeping a look out for the berries.
You start taking pauses to get a chance to look around and maybe find a better path when you hear the flapping of large wings above you. Looking up you see the larges bird you've ever seen in your life and is immediately gripped with fear. You are no stranger to the hunting patterns of birds of prey but it's very concerning to be the possible target of such a display.
The large bird is circling just above you and you have just a few seconds to decide how to avoid a likely imminent attack. You see a crack in the mountain, where you could take shelter and hopefully throw it of your trail. But you've also heard that you can deter predators by appearing bigger and more intimidating by flailing your arms and screaming angrily.
