On the 15th day in the month of Maur, Heroes' Day is a holiday to honor the adventuring parties past and present for the achievements and sacrifices they made to keep the people of Voldaria safe. Huge feasts of food and drink are had throughout the continent, though the type of food varies based on the region of the continent. People offer some of the food and other various offerings to the god of Valor, Maurikaneth on this day. Although the day is in honor to Maurikaneth, the other gods do get something as well. The towns and cities in Voldaria also give offerings of drink, coin, and incense to statues of heroes that made a huge impact in each settlement. People also tell tales of heroes, honoring their memory by sharing their deeds of either strength, wit, or swiftness. Even though this day is focused on feasting and remembering the Valorous, it also entails competitive games. Merchants all over take advantage of this day by setting up tents and sell multiple wares of jewelry, toys, and small enchanted baubles. In the capital of the Andrestian Empire, they honor heroes by telling the tales through coliseum games. In smaller towns, they do small games of archery, wrestling, or races around the outskirts of the area based off of the legends these heroes accomplished. Adventurers are offered a discount on food, drink, purchases and lodging for the day as long they show proof of their party being registered for their Adventurers band at the town hall.
