Crystalline Forest of Fu'atha

Deep in the heart of the Crystalline Forest of Fu'atha lies Fu'atha Village.

Geography

A forest made of trees with crystallized wood. While it is actual wood that still burns, like our oak or cedar trees, the trees of the Fu'atha Forest look like crystals. There are some trees, however, that are actual crystals, and grow rare gemstones as "fruit"—these trees are rare now because the Elders of the Fu'atha Village were greedy and chopped them down to build their huts in fancier materials than just the usual wood to build the rest of the huts.
The forest itself goes to the western coast of Lokelani from about mid-field of the island. It is a large forest in which people who are not familiar with the layout of the land often find themselves lost. There are tales of such souls which get lost in the crystal trees...

Fauna & Flora

Stag and wild boar live within the forests, their meats succulent and their furs warm.
Aside from the gemstone trees, the rarest item that grows are the Lokelanian Roses, which bloom every 100 years.
Otherwise, common herbs grow in the forest, medicinal plants, and various tyes of birds make their home in the iridescent trees.

Natural Resources

Crystallized bark and wood are the most common resources from the forest, outside of the other vegetation that grows.
Occasionally crystal trees with rare gemstones grow, but because of greedy elders, those are rare and believed to be extinct.
