Pruntese

Pruntese is a word used to describe the unique culture, language and traditions from the peoples from the Isle of Prunt as a whole.   In many aspects, Prunt may be considered as the "Scotland of Yudonia". This phrase was made famous by the times of Queen Victoria and would start to define how Yudonians saw Prunt and how Pruntese people saw the Empire. Prunt, as Scotland, is a land far away from the capital city, with unique culture, language, traditions, ancient gods and foods. Prunt is also naturally divided from the rest of the country by natural causes, as Scotland is from London by numerous mountain ranges and waterways.   The most important similarity between these two was that Pruntese people were very, very different from average Yudonians. They not only felt spiteful towards the Empire and the overall Crown, but they felt like their place was not with the Empire but rather with what was thought to be their closest brothers by heritage; the Germans. In reality, Germans and Pruntese not have anything in common but the love they hold for their homelands, the work-based lifestyle, and the overwhelming feeling of wanting a future dependent only on themselves.   With time, and after many reforms to the geopolitical and administrative organization of Yudonia, Pruntese people finally calmed down and from the situation the country emerged as an economic powerhouse of the region.
Language: Pruntish. Also called Prunn, Prunsh and Prunish.
