Tempest Mountain
Geography
A rising plateau levels before a formidable and jagged lone peak of Tempest Mountain, named so for its uncanny ability to attract nearby storms to it. a small mountain pass winds around the base a little over the small foothills on the plateau. Many creatures, mostly benevolent, roam here. Until recently there were not many vile things that called it home. Since Manaron's power has waned some darkness has opened in small ruptures in the earth and stone, revealing things long thought dead or otherwise dormant. Rehmoraz, wyrms, ettins, trolls, and all sorts of things crawled from the recent fissures of the mountain.
Fauna & Flora
White deer and elk and yellow foxes dominate the predatory fauna. Shallow-rooted plants grow in spades on the slopes of Tempest Mountain as well as fine timber of firs and pines. A large pond fed by a natural spring hosts some fish that the eagles fed upon.
Natural Resources
Being a heavily trafficked area, it is mostly free from harvesting. If it were to be harvest, timber would be the primary product followed next by game.
