Urth

(All images used in this world have been created by independent artists unrelated to this project unless otherwise noted)   Urth is an early medieval, high fantasy world with standard Dungeons & Dragons tropes and concepts. The starting region is the province of Avass wherein the players will attempt to rebuild the ruined city of Avagard, the once great provincial capital. Avass was once part of the empire of Solstion which fell centuries ago due to the maniacal pursuit of moonstones by prince and pauper alike. This avaricious obsession left the empire bankrupt and corrupted. External and internal conflicts fragmented the empire further and eventually only echoes of its grandeur remained in the ruins and lore left behind. Warlords, feudal kingdoms, cults, tribes, and wandering monsters now claim the land.
