The College of Truth owns many laboratories in the Mirror Ward. The unimaginatively named Laboratory Fourteen is apparently unremarkable, but has recently begun to attract attention for their capacity to run complex and dangerous experiments. Ozuronin Ama, one of the junior laboratory assistants, has a natural affinity for science of any kind, intuiting the results of experiments before they are carried out, forseeing and avoiding risks and flaws, and offering deeply insightful advice for further research alongside their results. The Associate running Laboratory Fourteen has promised that they will arrange a University place for Ozuronin any day now - but they have been promising this for nearly two years, and the promises are beginning to sound hollow. Ozuronin has their run of the laboratory after hours, but the experiments they really want to run will require funding, and reagents beyond their normal reach...
