High Masks

Sphere: Noble The High Masks are the families who live in High Hall. They are all fabulously wealthy and, as is custom, all members wear half-masks while in public, marked in their house colours but otherwise a point of expensive fashion. There are five houses:

House Ignis - presided over by the Blood Dragon Director Fervour Vetus-Ignis, they have extensive mining interests in the Mælstrom and Astral Realms, as well as connections to the Clock Tower.
House Withers - are known to be an organised crime family, but are wealthy enough to be untouchable.
House Lydia - ruthless business people, most members of House Lydia are also members of The Take.
House Stagira - bankroll the Maxim Club and buy up scientific and engineering innovations to sell.
House Osmanali - this house does not operate a dynasty of blood, instead they recruit the reincarnated souls of past members, according to the beliefs of The Reborn.

Each house, while having its own extensive family, also maintains "cadet branches" - families that have served them well and been incorporated by strategic marriages, although they will always be second class members.
