Cintral Imperium

The Cintral Imperium is the only state in the realm of Cintral, although regions do exist outside of central control. The Imperium presents itself as a utopia. Certainly its cities are large, well maintained and free from poverty. It does, however, employ a caste system, and for those outside of the city to live is to work, with no hope of advancement or relief. Order is maintained by mercenary companies, the one job available to all castes that rewards merit alone, but a demanding and dangerous one. As well as keeping the peace, they are often employed in the shadowy power games of the upper caste.
