Sol

A class G main sequence star.

Sol is a population I class G main sequence star, or heavy element rich yellow dwarf star, which is approximately 4.6 billion years old. It is the only star in The Sol System .It is the most important source of energy for the Inner Rim, and provides light to the Jovian, Cronian and Caelun Orbits. However it is not very important to the Outer Rim
Sol has impacted on all cultures in some way, even if only because of its ‘absence’. Therefore, it is possibly the most important object to the entirety of the human race.

Natural Resources

In a way, it could be argued that the light from Sol is a natural resource. However the real resource is the tones of hydrogen which it fuses into helium every second. When it begins to run out it will expand, before running out and turning into a white dwarf, and eventually black dwarf, at which point it will not give of light.
