Connector

Device that allows connection to VR

Connectors, officially called Langevoort VR connectors, are devices that allow users to connect to VR worlds. They were invented by Rolien Langevoort in the 2060's. Connectors usually store user data and data pertaining to the VR world when it was last accessed. Upon being plugged in the connector will request updated world data.   The connector looks like an old USB stick with a wire on one end. The solid end is plugged into the side of the user's VR chair, just below either the left or right arm support, whilst the wire plugs into the corresponding VR bodysuit port.

Utility

Access & Availability
Widely available across the solar system.
Complexity
The technology is not very complex, it uses wireless data to transmit information to and from servers and wires to transmit data to the user's VR chair and VR bodysuit. Data is stored on biodisks.
