Callisto

Outermost Jovian moon.

Callisto is the outermost Jovian moon and has a tilt of 0°. It has a global population of 26.5 million spread across ??? nations, with its cities built out into the lakes. Temperatures range from 5° to 20°, averaging at 13°. 88% of Callisto's gravity is artificially generated. Callisto is a dead but ironically life-filled planemo.   It has an atmosphere of Nitrogen, Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide. The planet also experiences a lot of spring-like weather. Water is readily available. 47% of Callisto's energy is hydropower, 39% comes from kinetic sources and 14% is from nuclear power plants. Its major industry is agriculture. Most transportation is achieved with hovervehicles, hypertubes, railways and landvehicles, whilst there are some smaller boats. It is a popular tourist destination due to its lakes and mountains. People from Callisto are called Callistonians, whilst products from Callisto are described as Callistoan. Terraformers experienced setbacks due to the moons unreactivity.

Geography

Callisto is very similar to the temperate regions of Terra . It has many oceans and islands, as well as lakes. It is however a dead object, with no volcanic activity and a cold core. There are three major continents, Meridianan is a large in the south, which reaches the northern continent of Vorios. Oihana is also situated in the south.   Like many terraformed planemos, Callisto is covered in craters.

Fauna & Flora

Many temperate animals and plants thrive on Callisto. On the many smaller islands there are many conservation projects for terra-endangered species, and a few projects based on bringing back extinct species, for example the dodo and red squirrel. (Main artical: Callistoan genetic reintroduction project)
