United Settlements Logistic Service Corps
The United Settlements Logistic Service Corps, also known as the USLSC is a military corps that directly serves underneath the Settlement Department of Defense (SDOD). Its purpose is to provide logistical support for the American Armed Forces as well as multiple other civilian agencies like the Foreign Intelligence Agency(FIA) and the Internal Strategic Homeland Division(ISHD). It was created on September 7, 1943, during the American-Atlesian Conflict in response to American's atrocious handling of logistical support to frontline troops. It has over 900,000 employees and is considered both a civilian and military job with over 5% of retired veterans joining after their mandatory service ends.
Structure
The Logistic Corps receive their orders directly from the top generals of the armed forces and is organized into 4 different units handing the North, South, West, and East units. The Logistic Corps has offices in Las Stellas, Buffalo City, Alamo, and the District of Colombia.
History
Origins-The USLSC was formed on September 7, 1943, after the Battle of Medicine River on the American Mainland in the Settlement of Olympia due to American Soldiers not being properly armed and supplied with the correct weapons. The USLSC was created by Bethea Ross, Ziio, and Captain Haythem Thatch with the intent to properly supply their soldiers with proper gear and weaponry after learning of their children's deaths during the battle due to insufficient gear. They proved the usefulness of the USLSC in the land battles of the Atlesian held islands of Sirus off the coast of Alyáska and Pihemanu in the Northern sea and the Sea of Vacuo. After these battles, they received a Presidential Citizen organization Award for their efforts in the battles and also received government funding from civilian organizations and the Settlement Department of Defense.
Modern times: Ever since their formation on September 7, 1943, the USLSC has grown massively in size going from 2,000 to 900,000 employees in the last century. They have also gained international recognition due to their part in disaster relief operations. Recently they have been merged with smaller US organizations like the Relief Efforts Group and the Rhodes Pharmaceutical Company. In the aftermath of the Fall of Beacon the Logistic Corps was called upon by the Valean and American governements to help provide disater relief to the surrounding areas and to help in the recovery of foreign nationals in their capital city, they also helped displaced peoples get back to their hometowns or countries.
Foreign Relations
The USLSC maintains diplomatic ties with multiple countries and has been called on multiple times by other countries for disaster relief and material needs. As the USLSC is a subsidiary of the Settlement Department of Defense their diplomatic ties are heavily monitored as to make sure that no one in the group is giving out sensitive data or documents.
