Tower Shield

Tower shields are heavy shields that are strapped to the arm and wielded in hand, and takes 2 basic actions to equip. These shields are incredibly unwieldy and require a 14 Strength or higher to use efficently. If wielding without a 14 strength, treat the wielder as nonproficent. As a basic action the wielder may place the tower shield, giving themselves and the square behind them half cover against effects from the chosen direction. In addition, creatures benefiting from half cover from the shield gain the shields bonus to DR. This shield weighs 100% of the calculated armor weight.
