Welcome to the Unbound RPG! This project was started by a group of friends who wanted more from their tabletop RPG experience. Originally started back in 2016 as two friends creating homebrew rules for the Pathfinder 1E system, Unbound has undergone many iterations to become what it is today. We have taken inspiration from many places, such as the complexity of older games like D&D 3E and Pathfinder, while having the accessibility of more modern TTRPGs, such as D&D 5E.

With the goal of being a character driven experience, focusing on the journey instead of the destination. To achieve this, we have moved away from traditional class and level based systems, allowing characters to grow naturally over the course of their adventure. This creates an environment that promotes characters with unique personalities that are more than numbers on a page. We have incorporated many features aimed at creating an engaging roleplaying experience, while having robust mechanical rules to support this.
