Feint

Feint is a basic combat maneuver that may be attempted as a basic action, however it is a special combat maneuver that targets an enemy differently than the other combat maneuvers. To feint, a character makes a bluff check against an enemy with a DC equal to 10 + the target's highest skill rank bonus + their INT modifier. If the target is trained in sense motive, it instead targets a DC 10 + plus their bonus to sense motive checks if it is higher than the default. If the initiator successfully feints the target, then they become flat footed against their next attack action. This attack action must be taken on the turn immediately after the feint, or the feint wears off. If a character is attempting to feint a creature with below 8 Intellect , they take a -4 penalty to the feint check and if the target has an animal intelligence, or has an Intellect of 2 or lower, they take a -8 penalty. It is impossible to feint an enemy that does not have an Intellect score. Feinting is the only combat maneuver that does not provoke without training.
