Dragon War

The Dragon War was a war between two races: the elven race known as "The People" and the dragon called Vkandis. It took place during the reign of King Kariel, and lasted for many years. During this time, the elves were driven from their home by the dragon's attacks. Eventually, the elves gathered together and formed an army to fight back. They used their magic to create weapons and armor that could withstand the dragon's fire. Then they marched on Vkandis's lair.   After a fierce battle, the elves drove Vkandis away from their lands. For centuries, they lived free from the threat of the dragon.   But then one day, Vkandis returned to Falskaar. He came back stronger and more powerful than ever before. The elves didn't know what to do. They had lost most of their magic after fighting off Vkandis the first time around, so they couldn't hope to beat him again.   They decided to flee to the mountains, where they would build a new city. There, they would wait until Vkandis grew too weak to bother with them anymore. They built a small settlement and waited for Vkandis to give up and leave them alone.   But Vkandis wasn't going to let the elves get away that easily. He attacked their settlement, killing hundreds of elves. So the elves retreated deeper into the mountains. They continued to build their city, and they eventually renamed it Falskaar.   Falskaar became a refuge for the elves, and it soon became a thriving metropolis. The elves believed that Vkandis would never come after them there, so they felt safe enough to begin rebuilding their society. They began to trade with other nations and explore beyond their borders.   Nowadays, the elves still live in Falskaar. They continue to build their city and expand its boundaries, and they still hold onto the hope that Vkandis will go away some day, knowing that one day he may make his move on Falskaar and The People's way of life.
