Falskaar

Falskaar is a city-state located in the mountains of northern Delia. Falskaar is ruled by the elf Queen Dalaen. It was founded by the elves, who built it as a refuge for those fleeing persecution from humans and other races. They call themselves "The People" but they're not actually human. The city is surrounded by a wall made of stone blocks that were cut with magic. Inside the walls are many buildings, including homes, shops, and temples. There are also two towers: one on top of the main gate, and another that guards the entrance to the city's underground tunnels.   There are three major roads leading into Falskaar: one coming from the north, one from the east, and one from the west. These roads lead directly into the city, which sits at an elevation of about 1,000 feet above sea level. A fourth road leads out of the city to the south. This road takes travelers to Falskaar's capital city of Eltabbar, where there are more roads leading deeper into the mountains.   "The People" of Falskaar are elven, and their culture is similar to that of the elves of Ansalon. Their society is governed by a council of elders, and each elder has his or her own territory within the city. Each elder runs a business that provides goods and services to the citizens of Falskaar. Most of these businesses have been in operation since before the founding of the city.   Many of the residents of Falskaar are merchants. They travel to nearby towns and villages to buy supplies and sell them in Falskaar. Other residents work in the mines below the city, where they extract ore and gems from the mountain rock. Some of this ore is used in the construction of new buildings, while some of it is sold to the dwarves of the region.   The people of Falskaar worship a god named Al'Akir. He is depicted as a tall man wearing a long robe and carrying a staff. His symbol is a circle with a cross through it. The priests of Al'Akir wear robes like those worn by the people of Falskaar, but their clothing is colored red instead of green.   Al'Akir is a god of justice, and he punishes evil deeds. He is also said to be able to grant wishes if the person seeking the wish is pure of heart.
