Capital City Vashin
Vashin is the capital city of Alshar. It has been ruled by kings since before recorded history began. Its location on the southern shore of The Sea Of Storms gives it strategic importance. This means that it has often been attacked by pirates or foreign powers.
In recent years, however, the king has done much to improve relations between his kingdom and the rest of the world. He has made an effort to establish diplomatic ties with other countries, and he even established a trading port in Aramoor. As a result, Vashin has become a major hub for international trade.
Vashin is divided into four districts: East, West, North, and South. Each district contains its own palace and administrative buildings. The palace is where the royal family resides. The palace itself is surrounded by gardens and parks.
The main street of Vashin is called "the Avenue." It stretches from the palace to the western gate of the city.
The Palace District is home to the palace and the royal family. It includes the residential areas of the king and queen, as well as the offices of the prime minister and the council members. The western wing of the palace is reserved for the royal family. The eastern wing houses the offices of the ministers and the council members.
The Central District is home to government buildings, shops, markets, and schools. This area is located directly west of the Avenue.
The Western District is home to most of the commercial establishments. It is located directly north of the Avenue.
The Southern District is home to the docks and the warehouses. It is located directly south of the Avenue.
The City District is located directly east of the Avenue. It is home to the majority of the population.
There are three major roads that run through the city. These include the Avenue, the Boulevard, and the Street of Flowers. All three roads lead to the Square of Peace.
