Creators Frame

A technology that is worn by builders that helps them accurately and quickly construct a number of buildings and basic shells for more complex designs. The Creators Frame is a device that targets and supports one's arms, legs, and spine; if that sounds familiar then you will be happy to learn that this design inspired the creation of the modern-day exoskeletons. Compare that to exoskeletons, made from rare metals and used primarily in covert ops and other very much illegal tasks, not to mention the tendency to malfunction and put others in danger if used near magic.
While well-known, the Frame is not something you'd find it every household, sure most modern homes have been constructed with it but typically only builders and masons can be trusted to have them in storage. Likewise, a home that was constructed traditionally and by hand could very well have a Frame, as often these people have the money and time to wait for their homes to be built but also the money and impatience to seek immediate repairs should something go wrong.
Created in Lieo, during a golden period of prosperity, the Creators Frame was originally used by Dracos, a large species of reptilian-humanoids with rough scales and jagged spikes. The simple design allows for the Frame to be created for virtually anyone, it is not restricted to a single species or race, and this aided in the widespread use of it around Ultimus. Unlike most construction based devices or tools that accommodated a single species or region and made it difficulty for anyone else to use.
