Sending Stones

Sending Stones, often referred to as Relays, are a fairly widespread magical technology that allows messages to be sent over great distances in a very short amount of time. While a small town or village may only have access to one or two communal Relays, it is not uncommon for larger settlements to a great number of theses. May great house, government buildings and large ships hold relays within them for their own personal use.
For communal Sending stone relays, it is not uncommon for them to be manned by an operator who can contact or put a user through to the right person or organisation.
Sending Stones are as one may expect rarely available for free and come with a fee if they are to be used.
