Nox finds him after the council. He wants to help but knows the council doesn’t want to listen so does Nox. She agrees to let him help more.

After the council Matt is upset he wants to make them listen but Nox knows its useless. She agrees to let him be more involved and help but she wonders why a human would help werewolves. He evades her questions and asks about the howling which she explains is songs to mourn the lost.
